Scope of Cooperation

“KIT Supercomputing Center” and “NVAITC” agree to cooperate closely in the establishment and operation of the “Virtual Joint Laboratory” as follows:

• KIT and NVAITC will establish a joint laboratory (KIT-NVAITC Virtual Joint Lab) at Kumoh National Institute of Technology for collaborative research and education.
• The joint research topics include HPC and AI for Industry and Education, digital twins and digital transformation. Additional topics can be added or changed upon mutual request.
• KIT will strive to expand collaboration with NVIDIA to Gumi City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and other universities, taking a central role in these efforts.
• As part of the implementation plan, joint academic events (workshops, symposiums, etc.) and educational programs for developers (boot camps, short-term courses, etc.) will be organized.
• Actively Operate the NVIDIA Student Ambassador Program as an Overseas Visit Program for KIT Students
• KIT will provide facilities and space for the installation and operation of the Virtual Joint Laboratory, as well as for hosting a joint research and education program.
